What is Extract Text?
The Pix2Doc OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tool extracts editable text from images and PDF documents directly in your browser. Powered by Tesseract.js, the industry-standard open-source OCR engine, it processes your files locally with no login required. This tool is perfect for digitizing physical documents from a photo, copying text from a screenshot, converting scanned PDFs into editable text, or translating printed data into a digital format. It supports over 100 languages and provides high-accuracy text recognition for both typed and printed characters.
